I’ll just go ahead and get to the point here: Summer is winding down, and fall is cranking up. Well, not where I am in central Texas, but in places that actually experience seasons it is! People love to grill out in the summer, but you know another really common time that people like to grill out? Football season. That’s right, y’all! Football season is upon us, and with that comes tailgating.
I decided that I’d like nothing better than to share a round-up of grilling recipes with you this week, just to get you inspired. Grilling is super easy (although I’ve never done it myself). My boyfriend and I had a nice grill that his dad and stepmom gave us when we first moved in together, and sadly, we had to sell it before moving to Texas a little over a year ago. There are laws in Texas about how close a grill can be to buildings, and since we’re living in an apartment, we didn’t have room to keep a grill far enough away from our apartment building.
BUT! I bet you can grill, and you can benefit from all of these mouth-watering, amazing dishes. You have 31 options! Well, really you have 32 options if you count that recipe that Bill from Primal Palate graciously allowed me to share at the end of the post!

Before you skip on down to the recipe, I want to take a moment here to plug the Reset and Thrive Library. As you might know, the e-book I co-authored earlier this year is included in the library, which is totally amazing. What you might not know is that one of the awesome discount codes included in the library is a 10% off code for Primal Palate’s new spice line! Bill graciously offered up a couple of their incredible recipes that use this spice line for my round-up (see the last two on the list above), and he gave me permission to share this super simple Grilled Adobo Pork Chops recipe below. If your mouth is watering like mine is, then I know you don’t want to pass up the library. It’s only available for four more days, ending on Monday, August 31st. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to get 40 e-book resources, a 2-week meal plan, and discount codes from Primal Palate and all of the other vendors listed in the graphic below for 98% off! Click the link at the top of this paragraph or the graphic below to view everything in the library. (Note: The webpage might redirect automatically when you click the link. There were some issues with the link early on, which have since been corrected. If you see an error page, just give it a second–it will redirect to the correct website. We’re sorry for that inconvenience!)
- 1 1/4 lb. pork chops (bone in, 2 chops that are 3/4" thick)
- 1/2 tbsp Primal Palate Adobo Seasoning
- Heat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove your pork chops from the refrigerator and allow them to come up to temperature while the grill is preheating.
- Sprinkle with Primal Palate Adobo Seasoning on both sides.
- Reduce heat to medium and grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or to desired doneness.
